Personal Trainer Experience
Recovery Fitness and Rehab was established by Personal Trainer and Biomechanist David Fernandez 30 years ago to help bring Sports Medicine and Science to Human Performance, Rehabilitation, and Holistic Health.
From elite athletes and military personnel, to the aged, pre and post natal mothers, even cancer recovery patients.
David’s clinical training and experience combined with his own experience as an athlete and dancer over 35 years provides a unique blend of sports performance and injury rehab resulting in techniques ranging from sleep coaching for performance and recovery to Tango dance for Parkinson’s disease.
Knowledge And Success
David holds a Master of Health Science in Biomechanics, a Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine, and Certificates 3 & 4 in Fitness.
David's holistic approach using counselling, nutrition, tailored exercise programs, hydrotherapy, physical therapy, dance therapy, breath work, and sleep coaching have seen his clients enjoy a 98% success rate in symptom and performance improvement.
His clients include corporate groups to stroke and spinal chord injury patients to one Masters endurance lifting World Champion.
