Mental rehearsal allows the brain to bring together all your skills and abilities, not just to perform when you need but to recover fully when you apply scheduled rest. This is a proven technique of elite performers & athletes.
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Incorporating your attitude, daily practices (work/study), family time, diet, exercise and rest must then be built into training cycles to periodise (load & recover) your entire life - not just exercise.
Physical therapy, accupressure, Hydrotherapy, counselling, QiGong, Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Wim Hof, homeopathy, dance therapy, exercise rehabilitation and even bush medicine principles can help us achieve success.
If it works, it works. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. Don’t beat a dead horse, and don’t walk past a potential cure just because it doesn’t align with your belief system. Keep your mind open to all healing possibilities.
